“Cooking has been a major passion of my life since I was born into a Korean traditional extended family and raised in the natural agrarian community; where still remains the wisdom of how food should be grown, and how each food nourishes our body. Having travelled around the globe, you realize how much of the wisdom of our food has become a lost science. Modern science fortunately has begun to recognize the importance of phytonutrients, that previously were dismissed as non-vital, that now increasingly are proven to show protective properties against diabetes, cancer, and other autoimmune complications. The more we begin to realize the importance of nutrition even, the more we realize that our body and mind are interdependent, and how fundamental importance food is also to our mental health.”
